A Mini Get-Away

Jason has been working a job the past few days that required late nights and early mornings, not that this is anything new, but the job was at a Marriott hotel and so his employer decided to get hotel rooms for the crew. The job wasn't that far away, just 45 minutes or so, but it was still nice for Jason to not have to waste time commuting when he could be sleeping. So, Allary and I decided to take advantage of the nice (and free) hotel room. We drove down Sunday night, spent the day Monday shopping and eating out, and came home Tuesday morning. I brought Allary back to the hotel for a nap and she zonked right out and I had plenty of time to just relax and read and not have to feel bad about housework or other pressing things on any to-do list. We ate pizza in the room for dinner in front of the tv and then went swimming. We didn't get to see much of Jason at all, but it was a fun little break for me. I need to forget all my chores and every-day worries sometimes and just have fun with Allary.
