Our New House!

We began house-hunting back in January. We had the coolest real estate agent ever, Tammy, my cousin. Seriously she was great and so patient with us. This house was the first house we saw and LOVED and we put an offer on it right away. We thought at the time that there was no way we had any chance of getting it for our offered price, so we continued hunting. We put an offer on another house and got beat out by someone else. We then put an offer on another house which was for some weird reason then taken off the market. House number two's offer fell through and so we resubmitted ours and it was accepted. We proceeded forward with that one and kept running into obstacle after obstacle. Days before we were supposed to close, Jason and I were both feeling like maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Then we heard that the first house had become available again and resubmitted that offer, which was accepted! We couldn't believe it. Everything just fell into place after that and here we are. I am very much in love with this house.

It is taking me forever to decorate and there's not much up on the walls yet. The problem is, I would like to repaint most of the house and the colors that I would like to decorate with don't really go well with the color they are now. Oh well, all in due time. For now, here are some photos.

Moving

Here's Allary helping us load up some boxes. :)

I was a little busy and too stressed to think about taking pictures of the actual move or the truck or anything. Here's a picture of the family room at the new house after we finally finished loading everything in. Seriously, is all this stuff ours???

I was busily unloading boxes and organizing the very next day and suddenly realized the house had gotten extremely quiet. I went back into Allary's room and found this... moving is exhausting.

Playgroup at the water fountains

We had such a fun little playgroup in our previous neighborhood and we miss them already. One of the last activities we went to was playing at the water fountains.

Allary, Ellie, and Lainey.

Fun Park

Not too long before we moved, we discovered a cute little park down the road. It had a castle and a Cinderella-style pumpkin stagecoach. Allary really loved it and I wish we had found it sooner.

My cute girl.

Backyard Campout

It will be a while before we get our new yard at our new house put in and so this was one of Jason and Allary's last backyard campouts. I like to let them have their daddy-daughter time while I get a good night's sleep indoors.

Sleepover and Zoo

I have so much catching up to do. I am going to try and keep the posts in order, which means these pictures are from back in May. Get ready for lots of updates!

So, back in May we had Paige over for a sleepover just for fun. The girls had such a great time and we enjoyed having Paige over. I sent the girls to Allary's room to get their pajamas on and a little while later, these two giggling princesses emerged.

The next morning I took Allary and Paige and met up with Trisha and Anne and Brady at the zoo.
