Little Ballerina

Allary started dance classes again this month. Her previous class was canceled because they lost their teacher and so I had to look around to find another affordable class. I finally found this one and it's really great. The teacher is so good at keeping all the little girls' attention and she does some really creative things. For example, she reads them a few pages from a storybook and then has them try and act out the story with dance movements. She also has them dance and then freeze in a creative pose when the music stops and then she chooses one girl whose pose the rest of them have to try to imitate. It's really cute. Allary is having such a great time and I wish we had found this class sooner, rather than right before we are moving. Hopefully we'll be able to find her another great class when that time comes.

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the Dinosaur museum with Paige and Trisha on Paige's birthday. Allary really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun there.

The girls were both a little nervous to get too close to this big shark. It took a lot of coaxing to get them to pose for a photo.

The Zoo

This was actually a few weeks ago but I forgot to post these pictures. At the first sign of warm weather, Allary and I headed for the zoo. We still had to wear coats, but it was a nice day and there was hardly anyone else there. The animals also seem to be more active during cooler weather.

I love this girl so much.

Allary was so excited to show Simba the lions. :)

Allary took this picture of me, not bad right?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This is Allary wearing her green today.

What do poor leprechaun's eat for dinner?
Green Ramen. :)
It is our tradition to eat a green dinner for St. Patty's Day. We had green Ramen, green Jello, green grapes, dill pickles, and green limeade.

The Hunt

As many of you know, the couple we are house-sitting for returns home in June. So we are hoping to find a house obviously before then. So far we've made 3 offers on 3 different houses all in the same area. We've been driving around a lot and we've decided we really love this beautiful area with amazing views and great family-oriented neighborhoods. The first offer we made was on a short sale and we still haven't heard anything back from them on that. The second offer was on a bank-owned house, and we got beat out by another offer. We are still the back-up offer on that house if anything should fall through. The third offer we just made on Saturday, and we were supposed to hear back by today. We found out that the house was owned by Freddie Mac. Well, then sometime over the weekend, it was sold or taken by the bank and is now bank-owned. UGH! As for now, the house has been taken off the market or just the MLS listings, not sure. The agent told the bank that he had a good offer (ours) on the table all ready to go. So now we are trying to re-submit our offer to the bank, but we don't have any info yet on where to send the offer. I'm just so frustrated. Why is it so complicated? This market is crazy.
Anyway, there's the update. Wish us luck!!!

Don't worry Mom, I'll take care of it.

I had a funny little conversation with Allary this morning as I was doing her hair.
Allary: "Mom, I really want a baby brother."
Me: "I know sweetheart, me too."
Allary: "I really want a baby brother now. Let's go get one."
Me: "Well, we have to wait until Heavenly Father sends a baby to our family."
I can see her thinking this over.
Allary: "Okay, well I will ask Jesus then. I know how to talk to Him, and I am not shy at Him."
