Exciting News
We are ready to add another child to our family! We are "expecting" we just don't have a due date. We are adopting! It has been a long few months of paperwork, gathering documents, interviews, and classes, but it has been surprisingly therapeutic for me. I have really gained a strong testimony of adoption and how it, and I, fit into God's plan. I have a lot I could (and maybe will in a later post) say about not being able to have a baby, but for now, I just want to let everyone know we are adopting and how excited we are. We are going through LDS Family Services, which is a wonderful agency and we love our caseworker. We have completed all of our paperwork required for approval and we are just waiting until our caseworker writes up our adoptive study and lets us know we are approved. After we are approved, our profile is then circulated among birth mothers until we are chosen.

YEAH!!!! I am so SO excited for you! I know the perfect little baby for your family will find its way into your arms- Allary will be such a cute big sister! This is such great news!
Brook this is so cool! I'd really like to hear more about the adoption process because that might be the route Tom and I have to take. I hope the rest goes quickly and you have a new baby in your home soon! Good Luck!

That is wonderful! I have always thought that adoption was such an amazing thing! There is nothing greater that you could give than to give a child a home. I'm so glad that you have decided to give of yourself in that way and I know that you will be blessed ten fold!
