Wednesday night, we were sitting at the table as a family having dinner when Allary started crying for no apparent reason. I asked her what was wrong to which she replied, "Corn..nose" followed by more crying. I didn't know if that meant corn on the nose or corn in the nose. She sneezed a couple of times and I thought that must have taken care of it because she stopped crying. Over the next hour or so she kept telling me "corn...nose..ouchies." So, we ended up taking her to the after-hours care and sure enough, there was a corn kernel lodged up there. Luckily it didn't take long for the doc to extract it and Allary didn't cry at all.
Silly silly girl.

I love it! I hear you can't be called a real mother until your kid has had something stuck up their nose. I think my cousin had a peanut stuck up her nose once. I have not had that experience yet, but I'm sure it's coming! She is so cute! Emeline watched with me and thought maybe she wanted to borrow Allary's shirt. :)
K, so we just experienced something similar tonight with Kaci....I gave her a tic-tac and she ate one and put the other one up her nose....then she started fussing and Jason thought her nose was bleeding, but no it was the tic-tac coloring coming out of her nose. So we called her doctor too figure out what to do since she couldn't blow her nose to get it out...everytime she would try she would sniff and then it would get lodged further up in her nose. Right after I got off the phone with the afterhours person at the doctors office Kaci sneezed and the dang thing finally came out! Kids...its amazing what they can do sometimes!
