This is Allary and her friend Emma. We are so happy she is in her class.
I like to go shopping while she's gone on her first day and get her some fun little surprises to come home to (I did it for both years of preschool too). I do it to celebrate her big day, let her know we are so proud, and to keep myself occupied and not sad about it all.
She is loving everything about Kindergarten so far. She likes her teacher and she's making lots of new friends. I still feel like her being gone all morning every morning is a lot and I get antsy to go back and pick her up. I LOVE picking her up from school. She comes out the door, spots me, and with a huge smile on her face, runs to me and throws her arms around me. It is the best. Then she talks and talks and excitedly goes on and on about her school day. I love it.
