Glasses!

At the beginning of the summer, Allary got glasses! I think she looks so cute, and somehow more grown-up (darnit). She has been doing great and so far, has been very responsible with them.

Preschool Graduation

Yes, I am behind on things again. It is also not helping that I currently do not have a working camera, only my iPod Touch.  I am doing the best I can to capture our fun summer with the resources I have.
So, starting at the very beginning of the summer, here are some cute photos and video of Allary's preschool graduation.

"Pinky was a stinky pig, P-I-N-K, pink! And he needs a bath I think, P-I-N-K, pink!"

We love Miss Jenny. She is awesome!

We went out to get frozen yogurt afterward to celebrate.

Preschool graduation...now on to Kindergarten. Am I okay with this? Not really. It is exciting and terrifying and joyous and saddening to see her growing and maturing faster than I can keep up with.

More Soccer!

I am way behind on blogging. Soon, I will catch up and post some of the fun things we've been up to so far this summer. For now, here is a short video Jason put together of Allary's awesome-ness at her last soccer game of the season. Enjoy!

Soccer!

Allary is playing soccer for the first time this spring. She is loving it, and Jason and I are loving going to the games. It is so much fun!
She was a bit nervous about it when I first signed her up. She was convinced soccer is just for boys. And then we got her jersey and, to her, the fact that it was blue just reiterated her point. So, we try to incorporate some pink (and a little girly attitude) into her soccer ensemble for every practice and every game. :) She makes me laugh.

She did score a goal at her last game, but of course, we failed to have the video camera on for that. I do however, have this little video of her getting creamed and run over. Ha. She is tough, she brushed herself off and got right back in there.

St. George

Jason had a show to work in St. George and so Allary and I went with him for a fun get-away. The weather was great, most of the time. Allary and I spent a LOT of time at the pool and also got in some shopping and a few other fun things.

We also went to the splash pad...

Farm Country

We went to Farm Country again a few weeks ago because they were having a birthday party for all the new baby animals. They had games and prizes and treats and of course, lots of cute baby animals.

Enjoying some birthday cake.

Riding the cow train. And yes, it was starting to snow. We were a bit cold, but it was a fun afternoon.

Mother's Day

I love being a mom more than anything. I feel so extremely lucky and blessed and overwhelmingly grateful for my role as a mother.
