CHRISTMAS!

We spent Christmas with Jason's side of the family this year. We had a really fantastic holiday.
Here is what Santa brought for Allary...

She got a laptop from Jason and me.

She got a cute shirt from Grandma and Grandpa M..

..and also a FurReal baby tiger from Grandma and Grandpa M..

This shirt was from Allary. I thought it was funny. :)

She got a Strawberry Shortcake playhouse from Grandma and Grandpa S..

With all the fun and people and chaos, we forgot to take the traditional photos with all of our Christmas haul. So, I made Jason and Allary set it all up again and take these photos when we got back home.

Oh, and by the way, when did we become so old and boring that we get all excited about a Shop-Vac and a Steam Mop for Christmas? I really am happy about my Shark Steam Mop. :)
And, Jason surprised me with an iPod Touch and I love it.

We had a great Christmas and we felt very spoiled. :)

Temple Lights

This year we found time to go see the lights at the temple. I was so glad we did and I hope we can make it a yearly tradition. It was freezing and parking was a pain, but I still felt like it was worth it.

The Christmas Tree and the Gingerbread House

Decorating the tree...

And decorating the gingerbread house...

Thanksgiving

Yes, I am just now posting about Thanksgiving.
This year, we spent Thanksgiving with my parents. It was fun and relaxing and a really nice vacation.

While we were there, I had Allary write her letter to Santa. I like to have her do this at Thanksgiving so that we can give Santa a chance to get some great Black Friday deals. :)

"Dear Santa, I've been good. I would like Zhu Zhu's, Legos, Rapunzel. Love, Allary"

November

We'll start off the November postings with just a little bit of silliness. I was just trying to get a cute picture of Allary and it turned into an all-out photo shoot. She took over the camera and took some of me and then we both just started being crazy and laughing our heads off. These photos make me smile. :)

October

Wow, I have some major catching up to do. I will start where I left off... October.

Allary's preschool class went on a fun field trip to a local pumpkin patch/farm with lots of fun activities for the kids.

We went to see the witches at a fun shopping village with some friends.

Jason was doing a lot of shows that required him to stay overnight up north. So, Allary and I went up and stayed the weekend with him a couple of times and had a lot of fun just enjoying the hotel, the pool, and a change of scenery. On one such occasion, Allary and I headed to the zoo.
